HOW TO UPLOAD
IMAGES
After you create your account and you are ready to start designing your own web site we suggest you to upload all your own images as one of the first thing so you don’t have to come back each time you would want to use your own images.
Go
into “Modify site” page and click on “Upload/Edit Pictures”
Here
you have two options. One is upload your image and the other is to take image
from the net. If you are taking an image from the net be careful and always check
copyrights before using the image. You could get into troubles. That’s why we recommend
to upload your own images.
Also
when uploading images make sure they are with “gif”, “jpg” or “png” extension. For example photo.gif, photo.JPG or photo.png. These are the only image
formats that our page generator will recognize.
Now,
to upload an image click on “Browse”. Another window will open displaying files
and folders on your computer. Find and select the file you want to upload and
hit “Open”. Now when you have your file selected click “Upload Now”.
If
your image was uploaded successfully it should display in your archive. If it
doesn’t show in your archive make sure you are uploading image with the right
extension and your connection hasn’t
been interrupted. Then try to upload again and if the problem persist send us
an email to help@todaysplanet.com
If
you are taking an image from the net just type in the full and correct URL
where the image is and click “GO”. This will upload it into your own archive.
Again if your image was uploaded successfully it should display in your archive.
If it doesn’t display in your archive please make sure you have the right URL for
the image.
After
you have your images uploaded you can use our other features to edit, view, delete
or transform your image.
Edit - this allows you to change
name of the image
View - this will show you
selected image in its actual size
Delete - delete selected image.
Transform – transform your image
After
you are completely finished with uploading your images click on the link “Modify
site” at the bottom of this page which will take you back to main page.
